Meet The Band!

“Little Wolf and the Hellcats is the Bay Area’s hottest new Blues band.
The Hellcats know how to play blues the way it was supposed to be played.
With a rhythm section that just won’t quit and a front man that is unrelenting.
Bring your dancin’ shoes!”

Malik Shabazz is Little Wolf. He got his name when fellow Bay Area blues veteran Ronnie Stewart told him he sounded like the Wolf many years ago. Although Malik sings his own style, you will agree he deserves the name when you hear him belt out the old Howlin' Wolf classics like Louise, Built for Comfort, and Smokestack lightnin'. Little Wolf is also know for his command of the stage. When he reaches the stage everyone in the room will know it, and if no one is dancing, he and his girl Little D will show the crowd how it is done. Read more about Little Wolf...

David Sobel is the Hellcat on the keyboards. We are truly fortunate to have this accomplished player in our band. David has played with the best at jazz clubs in his home town New York, and D.C. Besides cementing the rhythm section, he is also capable of eloquent and exciting solos.
