aka Malik Shabazz, has been singing and playing the blues all of his
life. During his lengthy career, he has shared the stage with musical
legends Jimmy McCracklin, Johnny Otis, Pee Wee Crayton, and John Lee
Hooker, and many others. Now Little Wolf has teamed up with the
Hellcats, a tight-knit groove machine that is guaranteed to bring the
house down at every show!!

Our weekly gig at Looney's is over
The city of Oakland has cracked down on Looney's having live music without a cabaret license. Hopefully they will get licensed soon and we can start up again. It's a shame that the city insists on impeding businesses and entertainment by requiring such stringent licensing for live music.
New Weekly Gig in Oakland!
Starting in 2010, Little Wolf will be appearing at Looney's
Southern BBQ in Oakland every Thursday evening
from 7-11pm. This is a new Looney's location just opened
accross the street from the Children's Hospital on Martin Luther King
Blvd. We have been doing some shows there already and the
crowd is growing. Come on out and check this out.
Great bar and excellent food, in a large quality venue.
Video of our show at the Vacaville Creek Walk Concert:
WATCH NOW
This was a great event. We were really surprised by the turnout and
enthusiasm of this town. We are told that there were over 3000 people
at this concert, and we were the only band. The weather was great, the
sound was great, and the fans were great. Thanks Vacaville, hope to see
you again next year!
Festivals in June 2008:
Little Wolf and the Hellcats played two festivals in June: the Novato
Art, Wine, and Music Festival; and the Vacaville Creekwalk Summer
Consert Series. The Vacaville show drew 3000+ people to the Little Wolf
only early evening music event. Needless to say we were very happy to
be there and the crowd seems pretty pleased as well.
Local Airplay:
We were on KALW 91.7FM Wednesday night, Dec 12, 2007, for an interview
and live on-air performance with Devon on Fog City Blues from 9-10pm.
And quite a while ago Little wolf
and Doug Logan were recently interviewed on KCSM by Kathleen Lawton for
her show "Crazy 'Bout the Blues". It was a great interview plus we
played live on the air. If you missed it, stay tuned, we will probably
be back on again soon. Kathleen has been playing our music on her show
regularly. Check her out on 91.1FM on Friday nights from 9pm to
midnight.
